How it works
Pick from 34 languages when you first open the app. Every day at midnight, a new word appears. Each word comes with its definition, part of speech, and an example sentence — all written entirely in the target language so you stay immersed from day one.
Lock screen & home screen widgets — Add the widget and see your daily word without opening the app. Show a single language or cycle through all your chosen ones automatically.
Spaced repetition flashcards — Every word you learn becomes a flashcard that resurfaces at just the right time.
Pronunciation — Tap the speaker icon to hear any word spoken aloud with a native voice.
Favorites & history — Save words you love and browse your full history anytime.
Share as image — Share any word as a clean, shareable card to iMessage, Instagram, or wherever you want.
iCloud sync — Optionally sign in with Apple to sync your favorites and settings across devices.

Privacy Policy
DailyLingo does not collect, track, or share any personal data. No analytics. No advertising. No third-party services.
The app works entirely offline using bundled word lists. Your language preferences, favorite words, learning history, and flashcard progress are stored locally on your device.
iCloud Sync (Optional) — If you choose to sign in with Apple, DailyLingo uses your private iCloud account to sync favorites and settings across your devices. This data is stored in your personal iCloud container and is not accessible to us or anyone else. You can use the app without signing in — no functionality is lost.
Data Deletion — You can delete all your data at any time from Settings within the app. If you are signed in, this also removes all data stored in iCloud and signs you out.
This policy is effective as of February 2026. If anything changes, this page will be updated.
